We were Inna pinch as my jeep broke down n got a ride to enterprise the following day hoping they would help us out, I had concerns from the jump... enterprise told me that because for one we didn't have a credit card (had a debit card and cash) that we were not able to rent cuz we were renting outta state from our residency.... we live on the border of NC and VA so we work in VA yet live in NC so because of that fact we were turned down... disgruntled and lost having to get a ride there who had already left assuming there would be no issue we seemed to be outta luck. Luckily the nice young man working the desk informed us there was another rental car place down the street within walking distance. We strapped on our backpacks and decided to give it one last shot at this place knowing that if this didn't work out we were pretty screwed. Ride was the company and within 20 to 30 minutes we were put into a 2014 ford focus that drove like a dream. We rented the car out for 3 days hoping that would be the amount of time to fix our car for $450 with a $250 deposit that was refundable as long as you took it care of it which we did. All they ask is that you return the car with the gas amount you received it with and don't mess up the car which isn't a tall order. Ride picked us up, helped us unload our car and got us back on the road in under 2 hours. Did I mention that their deposit was half of what enterprise charges you? They said I had dog hair in the car but no dog ever got into the car and it was vacuumed out before being returned that day. No, pictures won't reveal smoke or odor. If we did offer to send pictures there most likely was visible evidence of smoking, such as ashes.
